BIO
Rebecca (Becky) Franco, a founding principal at Maven Oak CPAs, has over 16 years of experience. Becky specializes in tax compliance, tax planning, financial planning and analysis, business strategy, and business succession for closely held businesses and business professionals. She has worked with a variety of industries to contribute to her overall knowledge and has a knack for paying close attention to detail in finding ways to help her clients achieve their business goals while strategizing for the future.
Becky obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Finance with an emphasis in Accounting from San Jose State University. Before starting her own firm, Becky began her career as an intern during her senior year in college where she remained with that firm for over 16 years. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), and ProVisors.
When Becky is not working, she enjoys participating in her kids’ school and sports programs, anywhere from blowing the whistle on the recess playground to being the scorekeeper during softball games. Also, she enjoys riding horses, particularly quarter horses, in a Mexican equestrian drill team known as, Escaramuza Charra, a hobby she has enjoyed for over 30 years. Growing up in the Bay Area, Becky spends the majority of her time with her close-knit family. Her greatest accomplishment is being a mom of two beautiful daughters.

JESSICA FRANKE, CPA
PRINCIPAL AND CO-FOUNDER
BIO
Jessica Franke, a founding Principal at Maven Oak CPAs, with over 20 years of experience in tax preparation for businesses and high net-worth individuals. Jessica specializes in gift, trusts & estates and has worked in the past for various organizations, such as, Rubens Partners LLP, Tucker Alan, Inc., and Cartwright and Co. before starting her own firm.
Jessica’s love for working with numbers led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a minor in Mathematics from St. Mary’s College of California. Jessica has also volunteered for more than 7 years as treasurer for her children’s public school Parent Teacher Associations and Booster Club. She also volunteers at her local church as time allows.
As a shareholder at a small CPA firm, Jessica values building strong, personal relationships with her clients. She provides one-on-one attention and understands their priorities to assist them in reaching their financial goals. Jessica has been commended for being approachable and responsive to client concerns. She has also been a key player in cultivating a fun yet professional environment for her coworkers and staff. Jessica has helped management and trained staff to further their knowledge and build confidence in their expertise.
When not working, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, their two screenagers (aka teenagers), and their two adopted Boxer mix dogs, Lucy and Leroy. She loves reading captivating books, watching action movies, and lounging on the beach or scuba diving.

ERIN SILVA, CPA
PRINCIPAL AND CO-FOUNDER
BIO
Erin obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She began her career in public accounting working as an auditor for five years in the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Automotive Dealerships Industries. In September 2013, Erin transitioned to tax and found her passion. Erin enjoys working with closely held businesses (especially law firms), individuals, and trusts & estates.
Erin believes education is a lifelong pursuit and is currently obtaining her Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. In addition to education, Erin places a great deal of energy in building relationships. She is involved in the professional community as an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Diablo Valley, Board Member of the CalCPA East Bay Chapter, and a member of ProVisors. These relationships lead her to be nominated for the 2023 CalCPA Women to Watch – Experienced Leader Award and honored as a Speaker at the 2023 CalCPA Women’s Elevate Conference.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, three energetic young boys, and Labrador retriever. To keep up with all of the energy, Erin trains for half marathons and marathons. Her favorite activities are skiing with her family at Kirkwood or Heavenly during the winter and cheering the boys on at Las Trampas Swim Team during the summer.
